Coconut Workshop
Walk or drive a short distance from your hotel into Lushoto town to meet Matson at his workshop. Matson has spent years experimenting with coconut as a material — he can make oil, jewellery, household pots and decorative pieces, and he'll show you what's possible before you choose what to make.
From there, the work begins with a whole coconut and ends with something you can take home. Coffee and fruit appear at the right moment. Please book at least 24 hours in advance so Matson has time to prepare.
