Coffee Tour
Begin with a slow uphill walk from your hotel to Kwembago, the ancestral village of the Daffa branch of the Kilindi royal lineage. Your guide will introduce you to the medicinal herbs villagers still rely on, and may help you spot the famous two-horned chameleons that quietly call these slopes home.
Continue to Mr Kassimu's farm, where the entire coffee process is run on-site. He'll walk you through every stage from flower to bean — pulping, drying, sorting, roasting and grinding — before brewing you a cup of his own organic coffee. Private car transfer to and from the farm can be arranged for an additional 30,000 TZS.
