Magamba Rainforest & Mkuzi Waterfall

Start uphill through old Lushoto town and onward to Kwembago royal village. Your guide will share the history of the Kilindi dynasty and the other ethnic groups who have called these mountains home: Shambaa, Mbugu, Pare and Maasai. Continue through farmland into the heart of Magamba rainforest in search of colobus monkeys, then visit the German cave and lunch at the forest peak.

After lunch, follow the forest path to the Mkuzi falls and the only swimming pool in the Usambaras. Rinse off the day in the cold pool before walking down to Migambo village to catch the local bus back to Lushoto.
